What can a teacher who feels like she's struggling to reach her students say besides, "thank you, Pinterest!" After being exposed to many literacy anchor charting ideas, I have finally found the courage to try my own.
For other literacy teachers who don't know where to begin I say, you can do it! Take a leap of faith and try your hand at your own anchor charts! You know the saying, "if at first you don't succeed, try, try again". It's easy to quote this to our students, but a little more difficult when it comes to trying it ourselves.
As teachers, we always beg, borrow and steal in the hopes of making our impact on our students just a bit larger. If you like any ideas you see, feel free to post them, but please give credit where credit is due.
